Nicholas Dorsey is a director and cinematographer from Northern California whose work is grounded in the natural world and driven by character. His filmmaking began in childhood, shooting DIY videos on family trips through the redwoods, and evolved into a career built around immersive, vérité storytelling. He studied Political Economy at Tulane University in New Orleans, where he made his debut film exploring the underground surf culture of Louisiana. Whether directing documentary or brand work, he brings the same curiosity and authenticity to every project.
